I'm thinking of buying DH Bulls tickets for Valentine's Day but I've never even been to a game so I have a few questions!
Which is the best section to buy seats? I was thinking behind the Bulls bench so he can see the players maybe, but I don't know which section that would be! Also, what time do you arrive to a 7pm game?
Re: bulls game
If you look on the website you can find a diagram of the seats. The only "bad" seats are on either end where the hoops are. The closer to the center the more expensvie (and generally better) they are. Behind the bench would be awesome, but those are pretty expensive, not sure if you are thinking of spending hundreds (and hundreds). You can find tickets on the site, on stubhub, or craigslist. Tickets will be more expensive for that weekend.
Public transit isn't super easy. There are lots you can park in, the further away the cheaper (we park in one that's about $12 I think), btu the walk is easy. I prefer to park further away and walk because then you won't sit in traffic trying to go home!
Get there a half hour at least before the game so you can get food, look around, etc. If you haven't been to the United Center before I'd even shoot for an hour beforehand - you'll want to look around. There is all the usual stadium food, but also some nicer restaurants with more expensive adn better food. It's fun to get some food and then sit and watch the players warm up.
