I also can't wait until tomorrow to share this, so here we go: I made an appointment with my OB/GYN today to get something checked out (TMI: but I've been bleeding for 13 of the last 17 days), and I casually mentioned to Trav that maybe I should just get my IUD removed this appointment, so I didn't have to make another when he decided he was ready to try. At first he said no, which was fine... I told him that I wanted him to decide when he was ready and that I would leave it in until then. Well, he email back and changed his mind, and I am getting it removed today!
We're still going to most likely use condoms for a few months, but I have so many nervous, excited, can't believe we're taking this step butterflies in my tummy right now! I just had to share with you guys because I have to tell someone!

Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

Every small step is one step closer to your baby. Congratulations on the first step!

That *is* exciting! Bonus points for Trav for continuing to think about it after the conversation was over. :-)
I hope you find a resolution to your problem. I know how disconcerting it can be to bleed for too long (I once bled for 124 days straight; that's what led to my PCOS diagnosis).
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

Christine,
I agree on the bonus points for continuing to think about it post-convo! I was completely surprised when I got the email. :-)
And bleeding for 124 day straight.... I don't even want to think what that must have been like! But I'm glad it led to a diagnosis at least.
