At my last gyno appt I asked for the implanon, and my gyno said it wasn't available yet, and she wasn't sure if it even would be. (which is weird because I know Jojo HAS one! ) So I ended up with the NuvaRing. I just started this morning and I feel like I'm dying. I'm nauseated and my stomach hurts and I can feel it.
Is anyone else on this thing? I hate it so far, but I'm trying not to pass judgement seeing as I've only had it for 5 hours.
Re: s/o birth control
There is a training process for putting an Implanon in, but it is completely available and has been for a few years now.
And I was on Nring before this. I didn't have nausea, but it should pass, and hopefully pass more quickly then when taking a pill because not as mush of the hormones are systemic with the ring.
I had it about 6 years ago. Spotted constantly for 2 months. But it didn't make me nauseated, and I couldn't *feel* it.
It did come out once with a tampon, which it supposedly doesn't do. That was no fun. H said he couldn't feel it during BCBC, either.
oh good, I hope it passes quickly. I've never had this sort of nausea with birth control before.
Also, TMI, but I think I'm doing rong. I think it wants OUT.
