The nigth was fun, but not without some adventures/funny moments.
When K got home when popped a bottle of Clique and opened cards we had received from family and friends. Well my BFF mailed us a package with hand made burping blankets! She said the fabric reminded her of Ptown b/c it has little lobsters on it. The blankets are sooo cute and of course K was like "Geez, I only told you to move forward on the baby thing yesterday!" lol!
Then we went over to Red Lobster where we sat at the bar until our table was ready. Well the bartender completely ignored us for 30 minutes, so K complained and we got a free appy. Then dinner is going well, but K's lobster is way over cooked. So they take it back. Poor K, she was laughing through it all but I couldn't help but feel a bit bad that our dinner wasn't exactly enjoyable for her.
After dinner we went home to watch our wedding video (decided wedding video + champagne = more fun than a movie out) well.....let's just say it's about 5 minutes long and only 45 seconds are viewable. The camera had some sort of issue so we can hear our vows but can't see anything. K's sister and BM was in charge of the video so at first I was a bit pissy but then I realize it's no biggie. We have a ton of photos, so I'll be a bit sad about not seeing my dress in motion but I'll get over it.
We ended the night watching Harold & Maude and eatting our really yummy wedding cake. I can't believe it was still so good! I think the butter cream might be a bit sweeter than I remember but the cake was so moist and yummy!
Thanks for induldging me in my long update...the honeymoon/newly wedding status is officially over. ;-)

Seems like a memorable evening. Sorry about your video. Congrats on your anniversary.

Sounds like you both made the best of an... interesting... night and had a wonderful anniversary. Congrats on officially being non-newlyweds! :-)
If the audio portion of the video is decent, maybe you can make a slideshow with your wedding pics that has your vows as the sound. So you get an "almost video."
