Can't wait until Wednesday - TTC news
So yesterday K says to me "I think if you want to baby than we should go ahead and start now."

I just started crying and couldn't say anything. I'm not going to run out and buy sperm this month or even next month, but we are going to start looking at donor profiles. If we can choose a donor by Christmas than maybe sperm will be our gift to each other! ;-)
Even with the green light from K, I still have one credit card (one particular one that just irks me) that I WILL pay off before TTC. I think another 3-4 months and it should be done. And in that time we should be able to choose a donor and get our legal paperwork together.
Oh and P.S. - today is our 1st wedding anniversary!

I think I'm just happy because after doing all of the inital medical work up we just sort of stopped. When we decided not to use K's eggs we just said we'd wait until she was done with school. It was harder than I thought to do all that inital build up and then - nothing. So even though I can't really imagine us inseminating anytime soon, it's nice to just be starting up again. K agreed to start looking at donor profiles and we'll just start there.
The really bad part is that all I could think of this morning was a baby shower. My family always has really nice baby showers and since I didn't have a bridal shower, I know I'm going to obsess about a baby shower - lol!

you deserve and extra special baby shower then! daydream all you want - its fun. But i definitly know what you mean about taking a lot of steps, then nothing. Starting back up again will be really exciting and you have a perfectly reasonable and responsible timeline. have fun looking at profiles!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE it has been a YEAR already since your wedding!! It seems like just yesterday that we were hearing about it and seeing the first pictures. That year totally flew by! Happy anniversary!!
