ugh, i know! today is exactly 1 month.
At this point i'm experiencing alternating waves of disbelief and anxiety. After an engagement of more than 2 years, its crazy to think that the wedding is actually here. I mean, what does it even feel like to not be planning a wedding?? lol.
the to-do list is.....managable. i think. I'm working on little things like OOT bags and finishing touches on programs. The only major tasks ahead are favors (we're making our own truffles) and flowers (also DIY) but those can't be done until the day before. What is a little bit overwhelming are all the meetings/appointments/ects there are coming up. and there are so many details to convey to vendors. I'm soooo done making decisions! Today I told the string trio to play whatever they felt like playing and the coordinator at the rental company to pick whichever flatware she liked best. so, yeah, i guess we could add overwhelmed to the list of how i'm feeling
but, despite the nerves, i think i'm doing a pretty good job of a calm exterior. there have been no major breakdowns, no bridezilla moments, and when the winery tried to reschedule our rehearsal to friday instead of saturday (invites already went out! people are coming from out of state!) i did not take it out on andrea

Well with all those feelings, it sounds like you?re right on track! :-)
Delegating small decisions like the flatware and the song were great moves ? bravo! Some little things really don?t matter.
Keeping your cool in the face of a nearly rescheduled RD? You deserve a medal. And a cookie.
I?m sure the truffles will be great (you have help, right?) as for the flowers ? I found making my bouquet to be some nice, relaxing ?me? time the day before.
Glad to hear there have been no major breakdowns ? you can do it! Remember to breath and don?t let the vendors stress you with decisions. You are the bride and they can wait one goshdarn second while you stop and think ;-)
