Did you watch last night?

I never watch these types of shows, but somehow got sucked into watching part of it last night. All of the acts were really bizarre, IMO. and it's annoying how the same handful of people/bands are always up for the awards.

I didn't watch it last night, and can't actually recall ever watching it in the past, but I did check out red carpet photos (I'm a sucker for that kind of thing) and wow. Has everyone always dressed so bizarrely for the grammys? Definitely a huge difference between red carpet photos at SAG awards and Golden Globe vs Grammys.

I LOVE watching the grammys but I missed the first hour. There were some weird combinations, but the best of them in my humble opinion (that I got to see) was Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli. I thought their version of Bridge Over Troubled Water was awesome. Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks were okay, but I think their mics were screwed up because it was hard to hear either one of them. The Lil Wayne, Drake & Eminem collaboration was dumb because half of it was bleeped out. And the MJ thing was way overrated. I'm sad I missed Pink and Lady Gaga's performance. I heard both were good. I'm off to YouTube to find them!

I'll admit I'm a Lady Gaga fan, so I tuned in to see her and especially her collaboration with Elton John, because I couldn't picture it. Since it was the opening act, I ended up just watching some after it.

I think I might be one of 5 people on earth who is not keen on Taylor Swift
