So I was having NFL withdraws and I decided to watch the Probowl. It was ...........wierd. It look like the guys were playing an exhibition game, nothing serious. Did anyone else watch?

zing!
I am totally surprised that they still have it....
I thought a of the Super Bowl guys sat out even when it was after? I could be wrong on that, I do not really care about the pro bowl.
I thought they played...that's just me though. I saw it was on, saw they weren't even doing anything and turned. Pointless...just like the NBA All-Star game.
No one cares about the Pro Bowl.. I wonder who would actually pay to watch that live?
I was wondering what happened to the skills courses and the individual challenges they used to have? Were those events not televised? I always enjoyed watching those!
boring.
And it really pisses me off to watch guys laugh when they screw up big time.
Oh yeah! What happened to those...hm...
I am an NFL diehard but even I hate the Pro Bowl. This year was an especially bad idea because one of the perks of making the Pro Bowl in the past was playing in Hawaii. This year it was in Miami.
The problem is unlike baseball or basketball, it is played at the end of the season. Many players have a ton of injuries from the season, some didn't even make the playoffs and started healing their bodies weeks ago, etc.
At least the NBA and baseball are a mid season "spectactle." You can't do that with football. I don't know what the answer is but the Pro Bowl is an epic fail.
The answer is get rid of the stupid "game" and just have drills, skills/agility courses and contests. Do only the fun things that people like to watch! The Pro bowl game is worse than an exhibition game. At least in an exhibition game the QB is trying to build confidence in his WRs and everyone is trying to develop timing and get into a rhythm as a team...
And if they have to play a game, why don't they just put flags on everyone and call it what it is?? Or play something else, like paintball, capture the flag... That would be more interesting to watch.
My DH called the "2nd string and 3rd string bowl" after many of the original starters backed out. That sealed the deal for us to not pay much attention to it, we flipped back and forth to see the final score.
