slightly disturbing gym rant :P

Hi all-- I'm very jealous of the GTG. It sounds like you all had so much fun!! Maybe next time I'll get to join in. Anyway, it's time for my rant.

So I'm at the gym. I'm going to get changed at my locker which happens to be near the sauna. I see this completely naked woman (prob about 65 years old) carrying a towel into the sauna with her. Ok... seems normal enough... so it didn't really catch my attention at first. She proceeds to turn on the light in the sauna and lay the towel out on the floor.... and when I turn back around she is doing yoga poses... like we are talking about legs up in the air exposing everything... Like EVERYTHING--spread eagle.

Now I've been a yoga student for years now and I will be the first to tell you about the good things it has done for my mind and body but REALLY??? Couldn't you just take a hot yoga class instead of exposing yourself to everyone in the locker room?? The door is clear as day and the light was shining right down on her. I felt so out of place and I was just wondering if anyone else around me was bothered by it. Am I over reacting or is that just bizarre??? I've never seen anyone do that... Plus then she's monopolizing the sauna from anyone else who might want to use it... I'm pretty sure no one else was going to venture in there. Yuck!

Um, ew. I have a hard time walking through the locker room with saggy boobies all over the place. I know it's a locker room, but it's still a public place, IMO. And I don't think I'm prude, I just wouldn't do yoga in my birthday suit!

I'm fine with nudity in the sauna/locker room - but it's one thing if you're sitting, getting dressed, etc. It's another thing if your va-jay-jay is all contorted for the world to see. Bleh!
