Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. I haven't eaten breakfast yet and I'm hungry. Maybe I'll go put an english muffin in the toaster before I finish my TTT.
2. Sitting in front of me is now a double fiber toasted english muffin with peanut butter, sliced banana, and a dollop of honey
3.I'm wonder if Cymru has the same nicknames for her dog that I do for mine (since they have the same name.)
4. Today is a workday in which I just don't know where to start.
5. I interviewed an intern yesterday who will be starting on Monday. The department will really benefit from having the extra help.
6. Our BRU registry stopped letting me delete items. I need to call the 800# and get it fixed.
7. I will figure out my parents airline tickets today.
8. I'm stuck on # 8.
9. I'm making the cake for my baby shower and am leaning towards an awesome coconut cake I recently made. Other suggestions?
10. As of May Southwest airlines will no longer fly from here to my hometown. One less travel choice stinks!

2. i am really worried we won't be able to sell our house in a timely manner.
3. for the price we want to recoup our DP and at least 2/3 of the upgrades.

1) I put up new pics of the kids in my office and i'm sure they'll be distracting me all day
2) i filed my taxes at 8pm last night and recieved notice that my return was accepted at 5am this morning. crazy.
3) i need a new printer for my home office so i can finally get working on the life books. anyone have a less-expensive one they love?
4) I really wish i knew what was going to happen with the kids. Especially since we are trying to plan summer vacations and we have no idea if they will be allowed out of state - or if we'll even have them then.
5) i've got a lot of piles in my office that need to be addressed. so much work. so little motivation.
6) I was supposed to travel to virginia for work this week but just found out I can attend by teleconference instead. I dont think Andrea's ever been so relieved :P
7) i'm a little sad that I wont get to enjoy some warmer temps - or get the chance to sleep through the night for the first time since dec 18th.
8) I dont have a doppleganger.
9) i was always fairly anti-bow before Rosebud came into my life, but I found the cutest bow and love the way it looks on her. Andrea can't stand it and thinks it makes her head look big!
10) thank goodness for february....one month closer to spring.

I don't know where you were supposed to go in VA - but Richmond is still digging out from their 12" of snow last weekend and Nothern VA is supposed to get 2" inches tonight and another several inches Friday/Saturday. Probably best you didn't go - and get snowed in.
it was Alexandria. Forcast on thursday calls for 45 and sunny...which sounds like a heat wave right now. But you're right, travel probably would have been a nightmare.

1. I am SO TIRED of cold weather and snow. It is supposed to snow another 2" tonight and then get another major dumping (I've heard 12-24") on Friday/Saturday. Since my work never closes and L's job goes by the fed govt schedule (but if she can't go in, she's expected to work from home!) it makes childcare very difficult. I've already burned through 4 days of vacation b/c of snow this winter.
2. I didn't mind snow pre-kids - but getting 2 kids into coats, hats, scarves, mittens and out of every snow pile between here and school is a PITA.
3. I have been good this morning and resisted getting a mocha. We'll see how my willpower stands this afternoon.
4. I don't understand why my kids sleep in during the week and yet on the weekends they are up ridiculously early.
5. The kids are starting to play together more and it is fun to watch. They are currently into playing doctor. They love their dress up clothes. We may need to buy more.
6. This morning Carter told me he wants to be a "real" doctor, nurse, and firefighter. Grayson says he wants to be a UPS driver or work at an airport. LOL.
7. I think I am going to make these for a party that I am going to this month. I think the kids will love to help.

10. I could take a nap. The kids were restless last night and the cats were up at 4am trying to get us to feed them...needless to say, I am dragging.
1. We got some snow over night. I am over snow.
2. Two groundhogs are saying conflicting things...I will side with Mr early spring.
3. DW and I were sick last week so coffee hasn't sounded good. Finally today we are back in it - Starbucks this afternoon - here we come!

8. I am excited that we have big fat NOTHING planned for tonight after work other than making a yummy dinner.
9. We ordered 6 boxes of GS cookies. That's a whole lotta cookies.

1. My sister claims I look like Macy Gray, but I think that's mostly just so she can sing to me.
2. I'm just sleep deprived enough to make everything feel a little fuzzy today.

4. E and I had a really great date last night.We had a long overdue conversation about our future goals and possibly moving or settling down more intentionally here.
5. I am a secret fan of the Bachelor tv show. I can't wait to watch it on hulu tonight.

7. My coworker is going through a tough time and I wish I could run home and bake her cookies right now.

2. I'm really excited to move, but not so excited to live with mess it creates. I'm going to really try to stay uber-organized. We're going to take apart the guest bed and use that space to start (neatly!) stacking boxes. This week we're starting with some of the stuff we won't miss for 6 weeks (books, out of season clothes, etc).
3. I have been craving sweets like crazy.
4. So far, I've been pretty good.
5. Not sure how long that will last.
6. My new maternity jeans make me so happy.
7. I meant to take chicken out of the freezer this AM to cook tonight, but forgot. I hate when I do that!!
8. I put up the March calendar in my cube (I keep two months up) and am starting to feel like the end of my job is within reach!!!
9. I have been picking at my lunch for an hour and a half. It's cold. I'm still picking at it.
10. What I would really like is a giant piece of cake!!!

1. I am starving but nothing sounds good.
2. I just want some answers. Even if it's bad news, I would rather know than be in limbo like this.
3. We are getting approved, hopefully, for a third child next week. A baby only. I know, I am insane. We want a baby, we can't have one and it hurts more than I can say. If one comes along who needs some love , even temporarily, we have that to give.
4. I wish you could all come to PBS' birthday party. You have been there for us every step of the way.
5. I need a "mom" outfit. Something presentable for when therapists are here but comfy, not jeans. Suggestions? I have never been a casual girl so I know nothing about comfy LOL!
6. We need a babysitter. I trust no one so we haven't been out since August
7. Since the girls came into our lives I have suddenly developed a lot of very conservative beliefs. Kind of scary since I was such a liberal.
8. Other than the fact that I am married to a woman, you would never know I was part of the gay community. I don't think that is a good thing either. I need to work on that.
9. I miss pedicures, it's been far too long
10. Valentine's Day might be overrated and over-priced, but I love it!
I missed it yesterday so I'm doing my 10 Things Wednesday!
1) I went to the Dr on Monday, no running for the next 2 weeks.
2) The pain meds she gave me make me drowsy.
3) We went sledding yesterday, DD had a blast!
4) I've been making mini fritattas, DW and DD like the convenience of popping them in the micro and heading out the door.
5) My weight at the Dr office was 4 lbs higher than at home.
6) DD is almost 6 years old. Wow, time flies by.
7) DW found a truck for $650.00 that she can customize.
8) I need new jeans.
9) Two of the tenants who used to live in our house stopped by yesterday and today to see if we got their W2's. We did but sent them back. Forward your mail people, forward your mail.
10) DD picked her birthday cake and cupcakes flavors this morning. Cake - chocolate mint, Cupcakes, chocolate and white.
