Can someone please help an out of town nestie? I'm planning a bachelorette party in chicago for the weekend of October 3rd. It seems that there are a lot of hotels that don't have availability - do you know of something going on that weekend?? Thanks!

but i'm not sure that's enough. there's also a bike race. Is there a Bear's home game? or it could even be a Notre Dame game, depending on who ND is playing.
i don't see anything huge on the calendars i'm looking at, but i would just call up one of the hotels that's booked up and see what they say. ask them if there is a special event going on.
