Re: Dear Puxatony Phil...
In my mind, Chicago doesn't hit spring until May (if we're lucky). So he's wrong regardless.
I will say this: he's adorable. He looks so cuddlable!
I can't hate a face like that!
He is sooo cute.
And I also can't say I'm surprised with the winter we've had. Annoyed yes, surprised, no. Lol!
Bah, same thing goes for Maine. I'm really looking forward to a morning when I don't have to budget 10 minutes of my getting ready time to scrape the ice off my car.

omg what a cute groundhog! i think ill get one as my next pet.
Last week I was showing my kindergarten class the letter g, and I was trying to get them to make words that start with G. I was like ok this animal comes out of a hole and if he sees his shadow..bla bla bla.. they still couldnt get it. So I said ok ill give u the first part of the word, "he's a GROUND ______" and they scream out "GROUND POSSUM!!" it was sooo hilarious I was crackin up. I guess they didnt learn about the groundhog until today.
My Blog!
Yeah, I've never understood the groundhog thing. It's Feb. 2nd - there's at least 6 more weeks of winter regardless. Since when does winter end the first week of Feb. ever?!
Plus, isn't there a statistic that says the groundhog is more wrong than right? So, maybe the shadow is a good thing! The only good thing that came out of Groundhog Day is the movie with Bill Murray.
