Whoa....OK, first we got hit with an ice storm. I was out of work Thursday afternoon and Friday for that. Then, on Saturday night, I though I had a serious case of bubble guts. By 3AM, I was crying because the pain was so intense, had thrown up about three times, and couldn't take it anymore. H took me to the ER.
They gave me some stuff to disolve under my tongue, an IV with fluids and pain killers and then some pills to swallow. I promptly vomitted the pills back up. Thanks for trying.
Justin, the nurse, came back and shot me up with morphine and benadryl. I was concerned because no one had scanned my abdomen. Never in my whole life had I had such bad pain, for so long, in my abdomen. Dr. Benn told me not to worry, it was likely one of three really bad stomach bugs going around. By then, Mr. Morphy had kicked in and I could not possibly care less about anything.
Yesterday I was so dizzy, there was no way I could make it to work. We tracked down Dr. HS' new location, but they turned the closed sign on us just as we were driving up. Some weird dude told us to call back this AM. By the time I got out of the shower, H had left a message. He also blow dried my hair because I was too weak to do it and he didn't want me leaving the house with a wet head.
I am still tres tired and likely will only make it half a day, but I didn't want to miss another day of work. I am wasting all of my vacation days on being sick. I swear this state is trying to kill me.
I also sound like an 80 year-old, chain smoking tranny because my throat is so sore. Between post-nasal drip, the cough that caused, and puking out my lungs....I am in bad shape. I need my Dr. HS. Hopefully he re-appears today. Cross your fingers, you guys.
