Now that I'm done nursing, I really need to start eating better. I don't have those extra 500 calories everyday. I started WW online yesterday and I was starving by the end of the day. I think my stomach just needs to get used to eating less. I know I won't stick with it 7 days/week. But I'm hoping I can just have 1 cheat day and use my extra points then.
Why can't I just be naturally skinny?
Re: Eating Healthy Sucks
I'd love to eat anything I want and still be thin, but that will never happen. I don't have supermodel genes...not even close. Right now my body doesn't want to lose any weight at all even though I'm exercising like crazy and eating a low number of calories. I'm just hoping that this isn't my body 'changing'.
Some things that help me are:
Drinking lots of water and chewing sugarless gum. Those ususally help with hunger.
Veggies are practically 0 points, so eating lots of carrots, peppers, etc. should help too. And make sure you're getting enough protein.
Thanks girls. I think I'll get used to it once I do it for a couple weeks. I've been doing good with exercising, now that I don't have to pump at work. I don't mind exercising - it's the eating right that I'm not good at. I like food too much! I cook healthy dinners. It's the snacking that gets me.
Eb - I have the chocolate mini rice cakes in my desk drawer. Love those things!
whenever i am trying to lose weight i eat a ton of salad with oil/vinegar, tuna on the side, sometimes a hard boiled egg, and some cold cuts. this really fills me up and i actually look forward to it as a meal.
after having a baby even when i got to my goal weight my stomach still hung over my jeans. so for me lifting weights and cardio was probably the only solution to that....but then i got pg again so i will be starting at square 1
good luck, you can do it!
