s/o fears

How often do you jump? You know what I mean, all relaxed and doing your thing one minute. to claws out, upside down on the ceiling the next. Usually over nothing.

I am a jumper. FI could have just walked out of the room, and he walks back in and I jump. Embarrassed

Re: s/o fears

  • It scares me when I don't know H has walked in also. I will scream and jump when I see a spider. H just laughs at that lol.

And sit or lay down when I am up too high. (I have pics as a kid of me doing this Embarrassed

  • I found this one.

I was young, but I remember this. From a child's perspective, I could feel the bridge (way out over the ocean) and it felt so high. I knew it was deep and to me at that age = height. I didn't want to fall off and plunge to the depths of the ocean lol. Even though I could swim.

  • Not terribly often.

I'm the one who makes people jump. I am, despite being large and clumsy, an amazingly sneaky person. I don't even try. I used to scare my tables when I waited, even though all my change would jangle as I walked.

This is part of why I think I'd make an awesome PI - no one notices me. I could be doing surveillance by marching behind you two feet everywhere, and you'd probably never know it.

  • I'm not a jumper; living in the city (and riding that public transpo) has given me ninja-like awareness of my surroundings. I can't remember the last time someone successfully snuck up on me.
    ..
  • I'm a huge jumper. HUGE.

I scare strangers sitting next to me at the movies. I jump and make them jump. It's so funny. I always say sorry.

My office is on the first floor, and the side door is locked. People will throw things at my window to ask me to open the door. Scares me every time. Plus, I can't open the door for parents, because they have to go through the main door.

  • I'm a jumper. My desk is near a doorway (no door, just a doorway) and my boss will often poke her head around the corner to say something and I'll jump. Sometimes I'll yelp, too, and that's  extra embarrassing.
