WTF from SIL's delivery

MIL just randomly showed up WHILE sil was in labor.  The nurses called up and I guess no one told MIL to go away.  She would of course have taken that as a personal attack, so maybe they just laid low.

I can't wait until H will tell MIL to GTFO when its our turn.  Heee.

  • Next time, I'm taking along a cattle prod for MIL purposes.

  • I am so thankful my MIL isn't that pushy.  I will have issues seeing multiple family members within hours of birth, forget being there during the actual delivery.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
  • I will say this our nurses asked if others were allowed in the room every time.  They were willing to accept the blame for keeping people out.
  • You know, I was always "no one in the room except my husband" until the time came.  Then, I didn't really give a shiot who was there.  We went in at 7am and Eva wasn't born until 1am the next day.  That was a long time and I ended up welcoming the distractions.

Plus, my grandpa was admitted to the same hospital the same day, so I had a few family members splitting their time between my room and his.

  • Thank goodness my MIL is a Prudy McPrude! I'm not sure how they will act seeing as, if we do have a child, it will be their first grandchild.

    No pressure.
