I guess this is my introduction
I've lived in the QC for almost 5 years. I met my husband 7 years ago when I attended college here (BHC) and then finished my education in Springfield (UIS).
My husband has an 8 year old son who lives with us full time and we've been married since Sept 13, 2008. We just had a daughter in Aug 2009. I've been a SAHM since she was born and I'm loving every minute of it.
Oh, and the million dollar question? Neither. I'm a born and raised Illini fan. DH is a Hawkeye fan, though, so sometimes tempers flare when they play each other, but it's all in good fun.
Re: I guess this is my introduction
Welcome Welcome!!! There's been a few more posts the last few days.
I guess I'm a semi-default Illini fan now since I live in Illinois. Although I'm not really into the Big 10 at all.... I follow the ACC alot more
Your daughter is so cute! I've been having some bad baby fever lately, with the desire to stay home... school sucks and my job is super boring and not stimulating at the least (and the benefits are awful)... just glad there is somewhere to go each day. [enough of the rant]
And September weddings are the best
Welcome!
I'm in central IL and don't really have a local board. It's either this, STL, or Chicago.
I'm not a fan of either team as well. I'm an alum of the University of Missouri and bleed black and gold.
Your daughter is adorable! I think it's great that you're a SAHM. I hope that I can be when my kids are little, it just depends on the finances at the time.
