Do you know how hard it is to drive the speed limit??
This is an irrational rant, I'm going for it anyway.
In the last few months, I got 2 moving violations. One for speeding, one for a red light. FTR, I have been giving tickets before and did not argue because I knew I was wrong. These two I am pissed about.
The red light:
I was driving 20 MPH one morning, and it was at 2am. I know this because I checked, and 2 years ago I got pulled over for speeding in this same area. I don't speed on this specific road, ever. BUT, I rolled through a yellow light, and so did the dude who was driving next to me. I got pulled over because there was an officer on the side of the road who said it was red. I am still waiting for the court date for that one.
The speeding:
Yesterday, I was approaching a red light. There were three lanes filled with cars. When the light turned green, I was goign 35MPH, and the posted speed was 40. The officer said that I was going 55 MPH before I got to the light, and I got caught in their trap. Apparently, one officer was holding the radar in one car, and he would tell the other officer to pull the people over. I asked how he knew it was me and not one of the other drivers at the light, and he said that the other officer told him it was me.
Do you see why this pisses me off?
So I am going to fight that one also.
I'm extra P.O.d because of all the people who blow passed me on the roads, blow through stop signs, cut into a different lane without signaling, speed and rev their lame loud engines. but they weren't paying attention to any of those people because they were too busy pulling people over for nonsense.
