confession: I POAS at lunch

AF still hasn't arrived since DD was born, and I was hungry all the time and craving spicy food and nauseated at the smell of peanut butter and DH's toothpaste.  So I POAS just for my own peace of mind, and thankfully, it was BFN.  No PIP, sorry.  (Not actually sorry.)

And I went to Wal-Mart to buy it, which was an adventure in and of itself.  Do you know they keep them locked up in big plastic boxes?  You have to carry this thing around, which is like the size of a child's shoebox, and when you get to the register, the cashier has to unlock it for you after she rings it up.

Insanity.

Re: confession: I POAS at lunch

  • did you know condoms are one of the top items stolen from big box/pharmacy stores? I'm betting pee sticks are up there as well - hence the extra precaution.
  • When the Mr. managed a rite-aid, they were oft-stolen.

And oft taken off the shelf and used in store until they locked the bathrooms.

I guess if I were going to steal pee sticks, it would be smart to use them in the store, rather than risk getting caught sneaking them out.

I was surprised--when I bought them before (CVS and Target), they were just sitting there on the shelf like anything else.

I'm strangely ok with this. At least they were making sure their thieving selves werent creating offspring, to also be thieves.

Huh.  They're not locked up here.  I can see how they would be a top-stolen item, though.
