Where do you buy curtains?
I need some new curtains for seven windows in our living room and dining room. Any recs for places to look that have great prices?

Re: Where do you buy curtains?
Mine are from target
My mother has fantastic curtains, but she made her own. They're super simple to make. You can even use bedsheets and turn them into curtains.
I bought ours from west elm. kind of middle-of-the-road, price-wise.
you can check ebay, too, if you have a specific brand in mind (west elm, crate & barrel, etc).
This! When I used to work at Linens n' Things, students would always come in wanting bright colors to match their rooms. I used to show people how to make curtains out of twin sheets without having to sew (all you need is an scissors, an iron and no-seam tape. Super easy!
Other than that - I've ordered them from Macys and Kohls online before. They're almost always on sale.
i second world market. i got my bedroom curtains there - white cotton voile - for $12 a panel. a set of the same kind cost double at Pottery Barn
I sew them.* ?:) ??Seriously, you're a talented chica. ?Just order some dupioni silk from fabric.com, get some lining fabric and sew them up. ?Easy as pie. ?(Even easier, IMO.) ?Even if you order "discount" dupioni, they will probably still be better quality than any ready-made ones you can buy for a reasonable price in stores. ?
*Except when I was super pregnant and we'd just moved into our house and needed decorative (non-functional, just pretty) ones for our living room. I had neither the time for pinch-pleats, nor the ability to lean over my sewing machine. ?I bought some red pinch pleated ones at JC Penney. ?They look almost as good as the silk ones I've made myself. :P
I make my own! I buy the fabric from fabrics interior and lining and sew, I am picky about the material and the ones I liked were pricey.
I can help you with your curtains if you like, I just haven't done any grommets.
I always check out the clearance sales whenever I see them. I know Target has a bunch of stuff on clearance right now. I bought some nice sheets for $10 last weekend. Curtains are on sale too.
I like bed bath and beyond too. Just remember to take your coupons! I was able to pick up some really nice curtains there last time for $10 a panel (on clearance w/a coupon of course).
ETA: These are the ones I bought mentioned above.
