What should I do for my birthday?
My 30th birthday is next week and I don't know how I want to celebrate. Birthdays are always a dilemma for me. On one hand I always want to have a fun time out, but on the other I never really know what to do or who to invite.
Of course being pregnant this year also means I'm unlikely to be closing down the bars
Dinner out? And if so, where? I feel like I want to do something special but I don't know how to define that or formulate what it looks like.
Ugh. Maybe I'll just wait until 31 to celebrate

Happy Early Birthday!!!
Its hard to plan a night out this time of year with the chance of snow and the cooooold weather.
Maybe request that K makes you your favorite meal at home?

Happy early birthday!
If it were me, I'd celebrate with a spa treatment (maybe a prenatal massage?) and have K make your favorite meal or get takeout to relax at home. Then, you guys could go out on a different night with friends for dinner or have some people over for a game night or something. I can never decide between the quiet vs. the party, so I like to do both!
I know what you mean. All I wanted when I turned 30 was to go out to dinner. I didn't get that but I did get a surprise party and it was very nice (although I didn't really want a party I was grateful for it).
Being pregnant and not able to partake in the yummy beverages, I think the spa idea sounds wonderful and then maybe a nice dinner out afterwards.
