What do you use as an oven cleaner?
I tried baking soda/water paste and it didn't work.

I just cleaned mine yesterday!
sprayed with white vinegar, than sprinkled baking soda over top. then I let it sit for a little while I cleaned the top. I took an old moistened sponge with the more rough side and a little dish soap (7th gen in this case). and scrubbed away. It took lots of sponge rinses and re-soap. Once I got the majority off, I cleaned even more with a brillo pad (brand new one - oxi clean version). This really got through some of the baked on stuff.
then wiped all the surfaces clean with a wet microfiber sponge. I got about 90% off the stuff off, but considering it was the first time I ever did it since we moved into our rental 1.5yrs ago, I was impressed.
