You know, I wonder how my parents would have reacted.
Mom would have had a fit, and used every four letter word known to man.
Dad would have been so disappointed, and made me stay in school.
My school would have kicked me out, because a baby at an all girls Catholic school would not have worked. I would have been screwed all the way around.
My mom gave the option to get out. End of discussion. She forced birth control as a preventative even though I didn't get naked with anyone until I was out of the house and on my own with the (meager) means to take care of a baby.
