This day is kicking my *ss already
WTF, today?
1- I lost an earring by dropping it in the toilet. And no, I was not going in there to get it. It was not... clear. It was a cheapy earring, but still...
2- I was almost killed my a semi when it blew out a tire about 10 feet in front of me. Momofuku swerved into my lane and I had to do some serious ninja driving so I wouldn't be smeared all over the Beltway.
3- Thanks to the blow-out, I had to haul *ss so's not to miss my train. I got the train station with some of my wits about me. I parked my car and got out. Wouldn't you know I managed to find the one fvkcing peice of ice in the entire garage to slip on? And yes, I busted my *ss. WTF. It's 45 degrees outside; how is there ice?? I didn't injure myself majorly, I don't think, but I'm pretty sure I've got a healthy scrape on my knee.
4- Oh, and of course I had an audience. Some ancient woman was shrieking like she fell down. FFS. I had to comfort her dumb *ss while picking gravel out of my coat and jeans. Then she wanted me to show her where the station was. I told her to follow me 'cause I was headed that way myself. Homegirl whipped out her walker and started poking along side me. *UGH* I wanted to yell, "PICK IT UP, GRANDMA!!" but you know, I'm respectful and sht. So here I am, having a leisurely stroll with the Where's The Beef lady, knowing my train is about 2 minutes from leaving.
5- But, kharma still works in my favor, sometimes. The train ended up being 10 minutes late, so I made it with time to spare.
Also, I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD MY FIRST CLASS YET. I wonder if there's somewhere to buy a flask around here.
