Pls. send me some good vibes...

I'm kinda freaking out right now. Tongue Tied

I went to the re this morning and had two awesome follies, which made me very happy. I took an ovidrel shot at 10:30am, and the plan was to do b2b iuis on Friday and Saturday. I was feeling really good about our plan.

Well, I just got a call that the clinic is now almost certain to be closed on Sat. due to the forcasted snow. Even worse, they may close early tomorrow. Ugh. If that's the case, my only option, aside from my medicated and ready self sitting this cycle out, would be to do one iui at 24hours post Ovidrel shot, which seems really early to me. Do you ladies have any thoughts on this?

Please send me some good vibes that the snow doesn't screw up this cycle.

  • UGH. I am so sorry you have to worry like this.

FWIW, 24 hours is really not too early.  For S, 36 hours proved to be too late and we missed O a few cycles.

Sending good thoughts and stay-away-snow vibes your way. Good luck!

  • from everything I've read, its better to be early than late so you are definitely on the better side of things.  Lots of clinics do IUIs 24 hours after trigger as a matter of course.  dont lose hope!
  • You ladies have made me feel a million times better. Smile Thank you. Your thoughts support the internet research that I've just done. 24 hours might just be ok. Whew.....

  • my b2b were 12 and 36 hours after trigger. so 24 is right in the middle and might be better than you think

  • Both of my successful IUIs were 24 hours post trigger so I definitely believe that it's good timing.  I think bluedaisyus and her wife were successful on a cycle that the timing got a bit messed up - 26-30 hours post trigger.

    Good luck!
