I have been shooting for some blogs in the DC area that focus on the Capitals and the Russians (swoon). I've had fun with it but it's all been from my seat, warm-ups, etc. Well I just landed a press pass for our farm team's game in PA this weekend! Our star goalie has been hurt and will likely play in his first game back (they have him in AHL to recoup). I am STOKED to say the least. I also have a soft spot for Johnny Carlson (WJC anyone?). Yikes. I'm so excited it's ridiculous.

BUT we are supposed to get 18+ inches of snow Friday - Saturday. Think I can trek up and make it? hehe

That is super exciting!  But, from the way people are reacting to the snow already, I hate to say I don't know if you will make it!  :-(  They told us chances are very high for an early dismissal tomorrow and to pack up as if we won't be back at all next week!

OMG, I want to come to Hershey to meet you!  Too bad Binghamton has a game that night....but Hershey has a better chance of winning.....

Stargirl - I know!!! The snow is going to be bad esp bc the roads are never treated well. We shall see. I now have one so it's good for future games too! weeee

We should meet at a game some time! That'd be so fun
