Found Puppies

Well DH has been in Fayetteville all week at a job site and gave me a call yesterday that he found a box of four puppies.  Someone just dropped a box of puppies in an abandoned lot.  DH has a huge heart and couldn't bear to leave them so guess who's getting four babies tonight!! haha We have two bigger dogs so before I could let them around the puppies they are going to the vet.  We have an appointment at 4pm for the little ones and then right home to get a bath and a puppy flea treatment just in case.  As long as the vet give us the okay we're going to start looking for homes.  I'm getting very excited for a crazy household of puppies!

UGH how can people do that?!?!  Poor babies - but lucky for them they found your DH!!  Good luck with the vet and finding them homes!!

Thank you very much for trying to do the right thing!  I can't believe someone would just abandon little puppies like that.  I'm thankful you DH was around to find them--good luck with the vet, and hopefully they will find LOVING homes soon!

do you know what kind they are? If they arent going to be huge dogs and can get along with cats I might be able to convince DH we need a puppy... it would be a great V-Day present! let me know!!

Wow, isnt that something that someone would just dump them like that... several years ago, I was hiking in a national park with my then-boyfriend, and we randomly came across several puppies, there were like 4-5, one was dead There was a box, someone had dumped them. We took them back to his house and even found a home for 2 of them, but they all died about a week later, I am pretty sure they had some kind of parvo. So sad. I wish people were more responsible about spaying/neutering.

I will post pictures tonight once we get back from the vet.  I'm hopefully getting out of work in a little to help with bath time haha.  Should be interesting!
