I bought DH a tshirt that says

I'm not emotional but lord knows I can go from 0 to pissed off faster than any sports car.

DH is supposed to go watch Avatar at the IMAX with some of his friends.  I'm kind of looking forward to it so I can be alone for a bit and maybe go out and do some shopping.  Except now he's thinking about not going at all.

We have big plans this weekend to go to Houston to visit friends and attend my little nephew's baptism which will be fun and all....but the weather this week just makes me want to get in my PJs for the entire weekend and watch movies.   I don't want to pack, I don't want to drive to Houston, I don't want to be social.  What a terrible Aunt/friend I am.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm kinda bummed about turning 33.  It's such an odd number (literally) but I'm excited [and scared at the same time] to becoming a mom in a couple of weeks. I have a feeling DH isn't going to do anything nice for my birthday or valentine's day, so I'm taking myself on a shopping spree today.  My gift of choice:  making over our bedroom by the time he gets home from work tonight.

I have used the IVF as an excuse to eat all things bad.  I have gorged myself on sugar and fried foods in the last few weeks since we started this cycle and I have loved every second of it!

I have not been able to stop the sugar binge this week.  Haribo, soda and cookies have been the sugar of choice.  I gotta cut all this out, which means ridding my house of all the goodies (and I hope that doesn't mean me eating it all to get rid of it)!

Happy birthday, tomorrow!! I think it'll be a wonderful age to become a mother! And how fun that your birthday and your little one's will be in the same month (hopefully, hehe). AND I think that is an A++ birthday gift to yourself
