Having my 1st superbowl party!
I never did this before because we always either stayed home with just a couple of friends, DH worked, or we went to my SIL's.
well, my SIL isn't up to functioning much these days, so she cancelled her party. DH ended up getting the day off from work, so we invited them over along with what turns out to be a bunch of friends.
I lthink I love hosting, so here's what I am making:
- turkey chili, rice on the side
- 7-layer bean dip and nacho chips
- bacon-wrapped shrimp
- brownies
- DH wants to make some martini thing he makes at work, and cosmopolitans. apparently he's become quite the bartender.

He'll think it's a party for him.
dogzilla hid from people and couldn't get away fast enough. this guy thinks people come over to play with him.
yep. he'd bring them a toy and ask (in his puppy face way), "would you like to throw this? it's a really fun game, and i love fun!"
he's actually timid around new people, but once he realizes that the new person is not going to chop him up into bits and pieces for stew, he's all ovr them like it's his job as a UFC fighter.
