I don't how to make a real poll...I've tried, but it won't let me.
Anyway, DH and I have been going round and round about this...DH wears socks to bed in the winter. I can't wear socks to bed at all.
If I wear socks, I wake up in the middle of the night hot and/or sweating and have to take them off.
DH thinks I'm weird, which is probably true. But I think far less people wear socks to bed than DH thinks. He polled people at work and only one person's wife wore socks to bed.
SO...Do you wear socks to bed? Does your DH/SO wear socks to bed?
Re: Poll...
i wear socks to bed because i hate the way my feet feel sockless.
in the summer, i won't wear them if it is too hot. it's weird, because i explode into flames while i sleep, so you'd think that socks only make it worse.

No, and neither does H. That just seems so uncomfortable to me. But I hate socks. I'm wearing flip flops right now, in fact.
When I was a kid, I sometimes wore socks to sleep because I thought dead people were hiding under the covers at the foot of my bed, and I didn't want my bare feet touching them. As long as I was wearing socks they would leave me alone.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
LOL! That's funny.
When I was a kid, I used to be convinced that there was something under my bed waiting for my foot or legs to fall over the edge so they could grab at it. If I had to get up to go to bathroom at night, I would practically LEAP out of my bed and land about 2-3 feet away from it. I would also jump into my bed from 2-3 feet away when I got back in.
No and no.
I will occasionally keep my slipper socks on until the bed warms up, but it has to be super cold before that becomes necessary. And then as soon as I'm even semi-warm, they're off, because they're uncomfortable.
I don't feel so silly about that now, you know, since a interwebs person did this too
I do wear socks to bed. My feet are usually freezing cold. In the summertime, they end up coming off in the middle of the night.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
I hate hate hate wearing socks in bed. Only when I have the flu or something.
Both H and Autumn wear socks to bed. WEIRD.
