When to Plant
So I just got my first place and the back yard leaves alot to be desired. It is mostly shaded and I would like to plant some flowers. I live in California so we are still getting rain but never get snow. When can I plant flowers?

Find out your USDA Hardiness zone and estimated last frost date for your area.
When to plant will depend on those two things, and also the hardiness of the plants you are considering.
