Can you really only get Mary Janes (the candy) around Halloween? They sell them all year here. Or, maybe this is where they store them until Halloween.

Re: cw
Really? I never see them, but maybe it's because I'm only looking for them around Halloween.
Oface, I happen to like the PB or molasses taffy in the black and orange wrappers AND I like Dots.
Mary Janes are these:
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
Now that I think about it, the Mary janes pictured above taste like the taffy in the orange and black wrappers. They're a bit harder, but pretty much the same.

I also like Maple Nut Goodies
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
I've never tried those, but I really can't think of a candy that I don't like. Plus it has the word "goodies" in it. That can't be bad!
I also like circus peanuts.
I had to learn how to buy these. Dollar general? NO! They're a dry, chalky mess. They have to come from the Brach's candy thing kiosk or in the candy aisle at a grocery store. Same thing for Swedish Fish. The multi-colred ones are terrible. They have to be red and don't try to trick me by taking just the red ones out of a multi-colored bag.
Do they still sell circus peanuts? I found the regular Now and Laters in a gas station and ate all 8 packs in 2 days.
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
swedish fish are my weakness. I love them more than life itself. I can't buy the big bags, though, because I'll eat the entire thing.
Also, I can eat them any way: stale and chewy, fresh and soft. Like licorice, they're good either way!
That sucks! I haven't searched out a theater sized box of Milk Duds lately, but I had one in late 08. I miss the theater sized boxes of Hot Tamales. I could eat those in a day. I have issues.
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
a day?! Sometimes, and this is just between you and me, I'll eat that for lunch. Just a theater size box of Tamales, mike and ikes, milk duds (RIP!) or sugar babies.
I haven't done it in 2010, though. It's my new year resolution not to eat 840 calories of candy in one sitting.
I at least try to eat them throughout the day. If I'm sitting at home? No way. GONE!
The only candy that 'lasts' for me. That's because it's hard.
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
same here. I also can't eat those in public because of the drool factor and how obsessed I get about consuming it.
I have candy issues.
I'm looking for Hot Tamales and Milk Duds on my way home.

Don't forget Lemon Heads?
Lemonheads, Cherryheads, Grapeheads, Laffy Taffy and Alexander the Grape.
I've found Now and Laters in old flavors in the old wax wrappers, not that CherryRazberry Razzmatazz junk they pass off as Now and Laters.
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
I remember. Grape was my favorite (pours one out)
Love lemonheads. and grape heads. and all of the other heads.
And banana laffy taffy is my life blood. they sell them here for 5 cents each so I could go nuts, but I try to limit myself to 5 at a time.
This just makes me realize what a whackado I am. There is no candy that I don't love!
I do not love candy bars. Easter candy is all about the chocolate, and Peeps so I don't get much. I saw Peeps hearts for Valentine's Day and wanted to kick the display over. I used to like these chocolate covered marshmallow thingies at Easter, but no one knows what I'm talking about and I don't think they sell them anymore.
<a href="http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll155/htpesq/?action=view
okay, I don't love peeps. unless they are really stale and chewy.
We're the marshmallow things egg shaped? And some had caramel in them too?
Google loves me:
I used to eat Chunky, but they are few and far between these days. Chocolate was yummy when I was a child. Not so much the past few years.

If I see theater sized boxes of Milk Duds tonight, I'll FBM you.
