My dad's 60th birthday is at the end of May and I'm having a hard time thinking of ideas for some reason. He's into baseball, WWII, and reading. He has just about every book ever written about baseball or WWII so I don't want to buy him any books since I'm not sure what he already has. Has anyone ever bought one of those newspapers from the year you were born type gifts?
I was thinking I might get him a vintage baseball jersey from sometime between the 1920 - 1940s.
Re: Dad gift idea
I think the best gifts are things that the receiver loves. My dad turned 60 in January and I got him a growler of this locally brewed beer I thought he would like, and a jar of gourmet mixed nuts. He loves relaxing with some beer and mixed nuts on the weekends so he really enjoyed his gift! lol.
You know your dad... just don't over think it (like I do 90% of the time!).
