Daylily care

I know that I need to fertilize daylilies in the spring, but I couldn't remember what type of fertilizer I should use. I have lots of new greens shooting out of the ground. We've had above average temps. I think I'll fertilize soon.

I found this article all about daylily care. I hope it helps.

Re: Daylily care

  • I've had daylilies in my back garden for about 5 years now and I've never given them any special fertilizer other than the overspray of what I put on the lawns. They seem to do very well every year. I get lots of nice big blooms and full green foilage on them.

  • I agree with PP.  I do next to nothing to my daylilies and they always go crazy!
