As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

i'm so ready for the weekend.
for some reason i've just been exhausted all week. it probably doesn't help that i've been up way past my bedtime every night this week working on homework. i've got a paper due by friday at midnight and an exam i have to take by saturday. ugh. and we've got a busy weekend on top of it, so i decided to take off the four hours i was supposed to work tomorrow. the system will be down anyway, so i'll just be missing out on filing. joy.
tomorrow we're going to some thing at c's plant. i guess there will be lots of motorcycles and hopefully i'll get to do a tour of the actual factory. then saturday we're driving down to see the reds game in cincinnati with a couple of friends. they had two extra free tickets and they asked us along. i've never actually seen a pro baseball game, and i think it'll be fun. sunday is the start of our softball tournament. woo hoo! we're (like i play, ha) third overall out of eleven in the division, so that's pretty cool.
anyone else have anything exciting going on? janet, i know you can't wait for the weekend either judging by your last two posts! :-(

My weekend will be filled with work, since our big gala is Sunday :-( I'm getting excited, and yet this is also the point before any event that I began to feel overwhelmed. I know the events always come together, it's just all the last minute things. And most of the last minute things hinge on someone else.
Anyway...Saturday we are having a garage sale, which while it's a bit of work, will bring us a few extra $s. We've been stashing stuff in the garage for about 6 months now and are ready to just get rid of it. Whatever doesn't sell is going straight to GoodWill. Then after the sale we're going to a free outdoor concert featuring the Cowboy Junkies. To be honest I can't name a single song of theirs, but K saw them year's ago and wants to again. So we'll go...
...then Sunday is the event....
