At home for the rest of the week.
Yup I have an event in 8 working days and my work is sending me home for 3 of those. Crazy! My work is crazy! I'm only allowed to work 35 hrs a week, not a minute more. So since the conference had me working this past weekend it meant I could only work 14 hours this week - Mon and Tues. Seriously though...they could just let me take it off next pay period but they won't bend the rules. The shitty thing is that they are totally setting my position up for failure. Event planning is not a 9-5 job and ya need to be a bit flexible.
Oh well, I'm headed out to mow the lawn before the heat comes (it's already 81) and then I'll clean and putz around the house....maybe I'll even finish the bio I've been working on! ;-)

But at least you get a little 'vacation', and this will give you and K sometime together since that is on the scarce side right?
Wow, it does seem really crazy to not let you wait until after the event to get squared away with your hours.
At least you have some nice weather for your time off! How far is the nearest beach? :-)
