ok, i have an hour and a half left in my work week and then i'm out of here and hitting the mexican place around the corner with a friend. so in the interest of making the time go faster i've come up with ten random questions, just for fun.

2: soda, pop, soft drink, or coke? I don't drink soda. On occasion I might have a root beer or Dr Pepper. And then I burp for like an hour straight.
3: inked? pierced? how 'bout your sweetie? Took out my nose piercing this year after 4 years. Two tattoos for me. C had her eyebrow pierced for a brief period when she was 18, and has no tattoos (yet!).
4: favorite game? Scrabble, Scattegories, Catchphrase, Cranium (um, I like board games... :-) )
5: favorite thing under $5? Snickers.
6: favorite food? cheesecake, scallops, creamy sauces, creme brulee, really good chocolate (not all these things together, though....ew)
7: what other boards do you frequent? I still check in at SSWeddings, but that's all.
8: ever wonder what other people on the board sound like? I have assigned you all voices in my mind :-)
9: rough it or hotel? HOTEL!!!!! Give me luxurious linens, an awesome shower head and room service.

3: inked? pierced? how 'bout your sweetie? yup, yup, and yup. i have 8 tattoos, c has 3. we both have our ears and tongues pierced, and she has her eyebrow pierced as well (which i never liked before, but on her i think it's cute. go figure).
4: favorite game? apples to apples! well, that's my favorite board game. i also love hand and foot. and darts. and wii. ok, i just love games. except monopoly, i've never been a big fan of that one unless it comes with fries at mcdonald's.
5: favorite thing under $5? my fish. he was totally worth $3.49. :-D
6: favorite food? i'm so boring and picky when it comes to food. i'm not even sure what my favorite food is. why did i pick this question? what was i thinking?!
7: what other boards do you frequent? i lurk on the election board pretty regularly, but i very rarely ever post. i also pop in to money matters now and then but i've never posted there. i also still poke my head in on the ssw board every week or so just to see what's happening.
8: ever wonder what other people on the board sound like? yes! i have this idea of what you all sound like, and i'm sure i'm totally wrong on pretty much everyone (mrs. f, do you have a boston accent? because you do in my head). but it's fun to imagine sometimes.
9: rough it or hotel? rough it all the way. we're taking our kayaks and camping next weekend, and i can't wait.
10: do you like pink? in moderation. i have a pink t-shirt that i like, and i tried to convince c that i needed a pink tackle box if she was going to make me go fishing with her. she just laughed. but the singer is pretty hot.

2: soda, pop, soft drink, or coke? I say "soda," but don't drink it. (I grew up in S. California where I only heard "soda," when I lived in Georgia they said "coke" regardless of the type or brand and here in the NW I hear "pop" a lot, but also "soda" regularly which is what I say.)

i'm a midwest girl! i still say soda, and i'm not sure why. pop is definitely the norm around here. although i was born in cali and spent my first few years in the dc area. who knows!

iced tea: ABSOLUTELY!!! It was a staple of every meal growing up. Not so much anymore as SC hates it and thinks it tastes like licking dirt.

I've got 3 tats and now just the navel and cartilage...I took out the other piercings a few years ago. Ironically, SC thinks they are trashy and adamantly against them for herself, although she doesn't seem to mind them on me...

food...I'm not very picky, but I love buffalo wings...the hotter the better.
other boards...just the one about our rescued birds...care, diet etc. Been on there a lot recently as our cats attacked a baby sparrow that fell out of it's nest...they mangled it pretty badly and it shouldn't have lived, but it seems to be doing well now.
others on the board...Yes!!! and look like in person...pictures sometimes don't look like someone does in real life. I think it really cool that the MA area couples get to meet and hang out. What great camaraderie!!!
Camping, definitely...although I do enjoy living in the lap of luxury every now and then
I HATE pink...(was that emphatic enough). I refused to wear it at all. I also refuse to buy it for my nieces, they end up with a lot of purple and green from me!!
