Topic starter: Honeymoons
DH and I went to Australia for 12 days. It was amazing. We spent most of the time in Sydney. We did a lot of sight-seeing, went on a couple tours outside the city (into the moutains, rainforest), ate kangaroo and emu (delish), went to a wildlife park where we pet koalas and the kangaroo and emu come right up to you and you could feed them. We did everything we could think of because we knew it would be YEARS before we'd get back.
After 6 nights, we flew a little farther north to Cairns and took another rainforest tour and a snorkeling tour. The snorkeling was breathtaking. We saw so many beautiful fish and DH saw a shark! We freaked about it a little. 
We spent a couple days just hanging at the beaches.
I've been dying to go back since we got home. We really hope to get back down there in a few years. The trip down and back isn't fun at all (it took us 24 hours total to get there - 15 hours was our longest stretch on a plane and it was brutal), but it was worth it if you have the opportunity to go.

I want to go to Australia! But it's alot of time and money to go there. (15 hours--- yikes!) Just had some co-workers get back from Australia and they had a blast.
We went on an Eastern Carribean cruise. Wasn't too bad. We really couldn't make up our minds where to go, so this was a compromoise and didn't bust the budget.
We are going on a cruise (Western Carribean this time) in January 2011 with a bunch of friends! Can't wait!!
What honeymoon?
We were married in our hometown back in Missouri and drove my POS car six hours back to our apt in Illinois the next day. We've been married almost two years. We're planning on going somewhere this summer. I hope.
