Need help with Droid Eris.....

Hi Ladies....

I just got an eris and am trying to assign a different ringtone to each of my emails as well as my sms texts.....  I cannot figure out how t do it ....  I have been told I need to get an applicaton to do it but I dont know what app.....  Anyone have any ideas....

WIth texts, you don't need a different app.  If you get a ringtone app like Zedge, just download what you want.  Then open your text messages to the first screen (where the list of all the texts are).  Go to menu, then settings then go to select sounds.  It willa ask you where you want the sound to come from: Zedge or the pre-loaded sounds.  Then just pick the one you want.  As for other notifications, you kind of do it the same way: select the sound through the email program you choose, etc.  If you go to www.droidforums.net, there is a section that is specifically for the droid eris and you can search for how tos and best apps and such. It's set up like the Nest only with a working search function!
