Brunch/lunch place near cadillac palace-kid friendly

I'm taking my niece to see 101 Dalmations at the Cadillac Palace....she's 5. Any recommendations on a spot to eat beforehand?

TIA!

Re: Brunch/lunch place near cadillac palace-kid friendly

  • If you want Brunch your best bet is Yolk, it is a bit south of the theatre you and you would have to take a cab or the El a couple stops.  Lunch wise there are your basics of Corner Bakery, Au Bon Pain or Pot Belly and are much closer to the theater.  There are not many places to eat in the Loop on a Sunday.  There is Petterino's nearby and Italian Village is relatively close.

  • Another alternative is the 7th floor of Macy's where they have several dining options set up in a more 'upscale' food court style. If it were me, I'd go to the closer places like Corner Bakery. Have fun!
  • Corner Bakery or Au Bon Pain will work out perfectly for what I need....thanks ladies!
