Photographer help please

Aloha from Florida! 

A friend of mine will be in Hawaii for her honeymoon in a few months.  She and her soon-to-be- husband want to do a photo session while there (kind of like engagement pics but since they will be married I guess it will be honeymoon pics!).  They will be in Oahu and Maui for 3 days each.

Do any of you have any recs for a great, reasonably priced photographer in one of those areas?  Thank you for your help!

I was very pleased with our wedding photographer, Dmitri Offergeld on Maui.  I thought his prices were very reasonable, too.

Shawn has a pretty busy work schedule now - he's already booked up through Sept. 2010, and he may only do weddings now. At least that's what someone over on the knot mentioned a while back.

If you are able to suggest trying for Shawn Starr (www.shawnstarr.com) or Frank Amodo (www.amodophoto.com) I would definitely go for it!  Pro photos in my bio of Shawn's work.  Good luck

Ditto Frank Amodo and Shawn Starr.  Stephen Ludwig's work is also really nice and my friend just booked him for her April wedding.  He may be less expensive since he's a little newer.

we used Elizabeth Morgan - she is wonderful to work with and reasonably priced, includes all images on DVD with all rights.  I think my bio is long lost when the knot changed formats but here is a link to at least some photos.
