Why We Laugh
it's black history month, so i think it's appropriate to talk about this showtime special.
i have to say, when i watch black comedians, i just watch it for the funny. i never think about the trials and tribulations that black comics dealt with.
this was a good documentary. i especially enjoyed the clips played showing actors and comics throughout american history. when i say american history is boring, i truly feel that it is. until we get to the early 1900's and civil rights, i really can't pay attention.
watch it when you get a chance. also, malcom X was a really good looking dude IMO.

He had swagger, and that always looks good on a man. He was sexy without trying to be.
