Back to work = Back to nesting!
YAY! My job that laid me off last year (that I loved) had an opening at their corporate office up here in Nor Cal and they hired me back. I'm so happy to be back.
Now I have a little rant.
So one of my co-workers asked if anyone wanted to jump on the weight loss bandwagon and do WW together. She said she can't afford to go to meetings so lets just be supportive here and count points. Ok fine. Well today she brought in a scale and wants everyone to weigh in so she can keep track of everyones weights. Whoa! I will be totally honest about how much I'm losing or if I gain but FVck that! I do not want people knowing how fat I am. LOL Does anyone else think thats kinda strange? And would you be cool with that?

I know and as mortifying as it was, I'm going to try to use that as motivation. Luckily she didnt say "damn!" or anything.

Ok here's my take.....My weight is my business.
Side story. I was in the hospital waiting in pre-op for my c-section and the nurse made my parents and family leave while she asked me personal questions. (ie: My weight, last bowel movement.....you know, fun stuff.)
When she asked me my weight I whispered it in her ear. Even Donny doesn't know my weight. I've done a great job keeping my weight a secret thru this whole pregnancy. So when the nurse is done, my dad walks in, looks at the screen and yells "woah, you weight xyz?? Thats more than me!"
FML, Thanks dad!
Oh Lily, that's not a trauma you bounce back from easily! Hugs!
PS - I love the name Presley for a girl! I put it on my list of names back in the dark ages when I was pregnant, and the XH vetoed it. :-(
Seriously Pinky, I still replay it in my mind over and over. Donny never said anything about it, but the number was SO HIGH that I wanted to hide under the bed forever.
