Wedding Dress Preservation

Hello,

Could anyone recommend a place to clean and preserve my wedding dress?

 Thanks!

Re: Wedding Dress Preservation

  • Sorry, I am of no help. Two years tomorrow and my dress is still balled up in the bag. I should put that on the top of my list though! Thanks for inspiring me!
  • Ew.. i need to do this too!

    Happy Anniversary DMC!

  • Yeah, my mom just lectured me the other week about not getting my dress cleaned yet... I guess that's going to be added to the list of items to be purchased/completed with tax money! lol...
  • Now I know I'm not the only one that has waited this long to do it! Let me know where you girls go if you end up doing it!
  • I ended up calling the lady who altered my dress and she recommended Acme Cleaners. They charge $149.95 for the cleaning and preservation of the dress. Here's their website http://www.acmecleaners.com/

  • Wedclean.com is where I took mine. (which is actually a local acme cleaners, but didn't even realize that at the time)

They were great and tons of nesties have used them. I used them a long time ago, but they were very reasonable. (I paid less than $100, but I think they around $120ish now.)
