::Sigh:: H...

In the WFL? thread I mentioned H had to go get me lunch after locking me out of the house.  Guess who didn't take his keys when he left to work on something with the neighbor?

At least he noticed during business hours so he could call the property manager.

Re: ::Sigh:: H...

  • H and i lived together back when we were engaged. I was home alone, and he had gone to a job interview after work. I took our (then) puppy out for a walk, but had left the keys and my cell inside and accidentally locked myself out. We were trying to "hide" the dog to avoid the pet fee, so I couldn't just hang out in the hallway until DH got back, and I didn't want to pay a locksmith, so I kicked the door in.

  • The only other time H locked himself out was when we first moved in together before we were married.  We were in the process of adding him to the lease but, while I like our property manager, they're slow and we hadn't gotten the new lease yet.  I guess legally I was the only person who could allow them to let H in.  To add to the fun, I was out of town for work.

    Good times.

    Lying to the landlord and causing property damage rather than just calling management to let you in?  I'm giving you the major side-eye, Barbie.

  • i checked the office - they had left for the day.

    actually, i would have been thrilled if they had terminated our lease. we were planning to leave as soon as it was up and had already started shopping for apts. the next door neighbors and the management company sucked.

    I fixed the door frame too - nothing else was damaged.

  • Okay, I have shifted my eyes forward again.
