As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone have any experience with Uncommon Schools?
They operate several charter schools in the NYC area and I am interviewing with them later this week for a school they are expanding in Upstate NY. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or heard anything about them (good or bad).

I have no personal experience teaching in the schools but know someone working in their Excellence Charter Schools in Brooklyn. From what they say it is a very intensive professional development program for the staff and curriculum for students. The hours, expectations, etc are very different from the public schools here. And probably not for me! That being said, my friend is very happy at her school.?
