nail rec in brickell/downtown area...
I really would like to find a place that I can get a mani/pedi done during my lunch hour. So any recs would be great!! Thnx.

Accross the street from Macy's there's a place called Metro Beauty. Most of the girls at my job go there and they do a beautiful job (i've never been myself). Ask for Miriela.. if not, everyone else is pretty good (or so i've been told).
Oh! I forgot about this place. I saw your post and felt bad because I work downtown but never get my nails done around here - in fact, I usually just do them myself. But some of the girls at my office go there and like it.
Also, there is a salon in the basement of my building, the One Biscayne Tower (2 S Biscayne Blvd) where a lot of the girls at my office go. You have to make an appt though because they get really packed.

Michi- I would go to the mall but w/the baby its difficult...and since DH only has 1 day off I don't want to take that day to be at the nail salon =( So I'm basically going to be taking my lunch hour for mani/pedi on Fridays...which I love b/c I'll be relaxed when I get back to work. LOL

I dont have any recs as I dont live near brickell/downtown but have you checked out the prices at some of the hotels? I dont know how much you are willing to pay but im pretty sure most hotels in the brickell area have spa's. Just a thought!
