A customer came in to pick up a couple things (this is rare) and he was 8 shades of crazy. Everyone here was rolling laughing. (Mostly guys.) A couple things he said were: (I'm not sure why he was even talking about this stuff.)
"Don't ever marreh a country woman. Man my wife is so country. She wants a farm..and cows..and dogs...chickens...peacocks...cats....roosters. Maaan if she evah tell you she's country. Leave her where you found her. Needs to stay where she come from, Man."
"I always wondah why all those black folk have all those car in they front yard. If one don't work, just get in another!" (He's black - he was going for funny)

Andplusalso on Saturday, H and I drove around for a few hours looking at houses in town. It seems like he would be ok with selling our place, which is paid off, putting all of it on the loan at the bigger place, paying it off more quickly, then buying a home in town also. (No car payments so that's do-able.)
We had time to talk over the weekend so we'll probably put it on the market and see what happens.
I'e told immediate family...except gramps. I hope to tell him after my US this weekend. Nothing poem-tastic although I should come up w/ something clever to tell ther est of the peeps. (unlike how I told boss which was *close door* "I"m sorry I almost puked on your shoes, morning sickness")
I love those sorts of members of the public w/ great running commentary...alhough your description pt me in mind of Buddy Guy Music..."green as a pool table and twice as square....country when I come to town..."
