I can't take it anymore!!
I don't know what is going on with my dear daughter, but her sleeping the past week has ben AWFUL! Its the worst its ever been! She is waking up 3 & 4 times a night, crying, tossing and turning, fidgeting. She hasn't been herself all weekend. She vomitted friday night so I think she is getting sick, or has some molars coming up.. I don't know anymore! Absolutely nothing I do helps her at night. Our bedtime and routine is the same as its always been. When she wakes at night I lay her back down and rub her belly and she usually zonks out.. but not lately. I'm now rocking with her in the glider in which she proceeds to fidget, kick, push, and hit while trying to get comfortable. We end up sitting there for hours and then I bring her in bed with me and the whole thing continues from there. Finally after being up for hours we go back to the glider and she's out in less than 2 minutes.. and then up again at 5:30am! Or she is just so tired I have to wake her up in the mornings so we can get out of the house! I have even resorted to giving her milk in the middle of the night thinking she was hungry, thirsty.. I DON"T KNOW!! LOL!! DH works nights, so I am alone in this battle. I really just don't know what to do anymore. I hope its because she isn't feeling well, or is teething.. and it passes soon! I'm running out of patience and gas. This is week #2 of this... not sure how much more I can take!
Re: I can't take it anymore!!
Oh no, poor thing. My DH works nights too, so I know how that feels. I agree its probably teeth and/or a belly ache. I used to give her room temp water with mylicon drops, and it kinda helped. If its possibly teeth how about some motrin?? I hope you both get some sleep soon.
