Need book recs

I just finished The Lovely Bones and The Time Traveler's Wife (no, I do not usually only read books which are made into movies!)... have some B&N gift cards which are burning holes in my wallet.

Anyone have any recs? TIA

i keep suggesting this one... but Tall Skinny Cappuccino by Kim Huff. She's a friend! Its chick lit and i thought it was fab, but  i might be biased

Have you read The Help?  That's been one of my recent favorites.  I'm reading the Outlander series right now, but next on my list is the Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Society.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I loved this book so much! 

ETA: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon is one of my all time favorite books (it's part of a series and I've read through book 4, but this one is still the very best.)

I'm reading Voyager, the third book in the series.  I love the series so far, but the books are SO long that I like to give myself a break in between them!

I third The Help. Then, you can come to book club in March too, since it's the selection for that! I also quite liked The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society, the other one Guava rec'd.

Molokai and The Book Thief  Molokai is historical fiction written about a leprosy colony in Hawaii.  Parts of it are sad, but more than that, it's a happy and hopeful beautiful book.  The Book Thief is about Nazi Germany.  Hard to describe and also has some sad themes but also very hopeful with amazing characters.

I second the Book Thief!  Another dark/sad but excellent book - A Thousand Splendid Suns. 
Right now I'm reading Fearful Symmetry - so far so good, but only about 1/3 the way through.
